New section: Video Shop

Your short-form clips with a price tag on every one, linking straight to the product.

If you record clips of your products for TikTok, Reels or Shorts, there was no clean way to put them on your storefront with prices attached. Shoppable Video came closest, but it opens a popup with a variant picker and an add-to-cart button — a lot of machinery if all you want is a row of clips people can tap through to buy.

Video Shop is the simpler shape. A row of vertical clips, each with a product card resting inside it: thumbnail, product name, live price, and the old price struck through when the item is on sale. Tapping anywhere on a clip opens that product's page.

The badges are worked out from your catalogue, not typed in. "New" comes from the product's real publish date, and you choose how long a product counts as new. The discount percentage is calculated from the compare-at price — so a badge can never advertise a saving you are not actually giving, and it updates itself when you change a price. Nothing to remember, nothing to go stale.

Every card lines up. This is the part that usually goes wrong in a row of products: one has a long name, another has a supplier photo that is wide instead of square, a third is the only one on sale. Video Shop reserves the space either way, fits every thumbnail onto an identical plate without cropping or stretching it, and a product with no photo at all gets a lettered plate rather than a blank hole. The row reads as one shelf whatever your catalogue looks like.

Two card styles: a solid card, or frosted glass that lets the clip show through behind it. The frost has a floor built in — you can make it lighter, but not so light that the price stops being readable over a bright clip.

Badges come in four shapes: a pill, a squared tab, a corner flag notched into the top of the clip, and a hanging ribbon with a notched foot. You can put them on the clip or down in the product card, and you type the "New" wording yourself so it reads correctly in your own language.

The centered clip plays muted as it scrolls into view, one at a time, and stops entirely for anyone browsing with reduced motion switched on.

Find it in the Modulo section catalog under Video.
