Product Coverflow: the Sold out, Sale and From labels are now translatable

Three words the section printed itself were fixed in English and could never reach Translate & Adapt. They are settings now, so they translate like the rest of your text.

If you sell in more than one language, Product Coverflow had three words that stayed stubbornly English no matter what you did: the Sold out badge, the Sale badge, and the From that appears in front of a price when a product's variants are priced differently.

They were written into the section's code rather than stored as settings, and Shopify's Translate & Adapt can only see the second kind. So there was no field to translate, and nothing you could have done in the app or in Shopify would have changed them. That was our gap, not a setting anyone missed.

What changed

All three are now editable fields, under a new Labels group in the section's settings. Type whatever wording you want, in whatever language.

More importantly, because they are settings, Shopify now lists them in Translate & Adapt. Open it, pick a language, go to Theme, choose the template the section sits on, and you will find Sold out badge, Sale badge and Price prefix alongside your headings. Fill them in once per language and the storefront follows.

The screen reader wording follows the same field, so a shopper using one hears the badge in their own language too.

Getting the update

Open Product Coverflow in Modulo and choose Update to latest. Your existing settings, colours and spacing are kept exactly as they are. If you never touch the new fields, the section reads the same as it does today.

The rest of the library

Coverflow is not the only section that prints a word of its own. If one of your sections is showing English somewhere it should not, tell us which one and we will take a look.
