Product Buy Box now accepts app blocks
Add a Modulo bundle, or any other app's block, straight into the buy column beside your Add to cart button.
Product Buy Box previously accepted only its own blocks, so there was no way to put a Modulo bundle inside it. If you were using the buy box as your product page, the bundle had nowhere to live. That was a real gap, not a setting you were missing.
The section now accepts app blocks. In the theme editor, open Product Buy Box, click Add block, and you will see an Apps group alongside the built-in blocks. Pick your Modulo bundle there and drag it wherever it belongs, most often just above the Add to cart button.
A few things happen automatically once a bundle is in the column:
- The quantity stepper steps aside, because the bundle's pack options already choose the quantity, and the Add to cart button takes the full width instead of leaving a gap where the stepper was.
- Shopify's express wallet button is hidden while a bundle is showing. It bypasses the product form, so it would charge for a single item no matter which pack the shopper picked.
- On a product that is not part of any bundle, the block renders nothing and leaves no empty space behind it.
This works for other apps' blocks too, not only ours, so reviews, loyalty and subscription widgets can sit in the buy column as well.
One thing worth knowing: app blocks always read the product of the page they are on, not the product picked in the section's settings. If those two are different, the theme editor now tells you so rather than letting it pass silently.
To get it, open the Modulo section catalog and choose Update to latest on Product Buy Box. Your settings are kept.
