Your unsaved bundle edits can't slip away

Changing how a bundle looks — swapping the layout, picking a colour, flipping a toggle — never touched your store until you pressed Save. That part was fine. What wasn't fine is that nothing on screen said so. The only hint was the Save button in the top corner waking up, a long way from the control you had just touched, and clicking away from the page took the change with it without a word.

Shopify's Save bar, not ours

Make a change and the admin's own Save bar slides in across the top, the same one you see when you edit a product. Save commits. Discard puts everything back to the last saved version — not to how the page looked when you opened it, so a save you already made is never undone by a discard afterwards.

Leaving now asks

If you try to navigate away with unsaved changes — a link inside the app, the browser Back button, closing the tab — you get asked first. Nothing is thrown away on your behalf.

New bundles are covered too

This used to apply only when editing an existing bundle. A half-built new bundle is the one with nothing saved anywhere to fall back on, so it now gets the same protection.

Saving still works exactly as it did, and the confirmation you get after a successful save is unchanged.
