Slideshow Glass: a slideshow you browse instead of click through blind

Dots tell a shopper how many slides there are and nothing else. Slide 3 is only ever reached by clicking twice and hoping it was worth it — which is a real cost when your slides look alike, as they do in a lookbook, a seasonal campaign or a set of category shots.

Modulo: Slideshow Glass puts a thumbnail of every slide on a frosted panel in the corner, next to a slide counter. Shoppers see the whole set at a glance and jump straight to the one they want.

The card is yours to shape

The slide text sits on a card, not on a flat wash over the photo. You control its width, its spacing, its corner radius, its border, its tint, and how much of the photo shows through the frost — independently of the image behind it.

Three styles:

• Frosted glass — the default. The photo blurs through the card.
• Solid — a flat panel, no blur.
• No card — the text sits directly on the photo, which is what Modulo: Slideshow Classic already does. If that is the look you want, Classic is the simpler section for the job.

Video slides

Any slide can carry a video instead of an image. It plays muted on a loop, shows its cover frame until it starts, and comes with a pause control. It does not play at all for shoppers who have "Reduce motion" turned on in their device settings.

The rest

• Up to 12 slides; a single slide renders as a plain static hero with no navigation at all
• Per slide: eyebrow, heading with a highlighted word, text, and up to two buttons (solid, outline or text link)
• Optional whole-slide link, for photos that already carry their own wording
• Thumbnails, arrows and the counter each switch on or off separately for desktop and mobile
• Thumbnails are off on mobile by default, where they are too small to read — the counter and arrows carry navigation there
• Autoplay is off by default, because rotating heroes tend to lose engagement on later slides

Adding it

Open your Modulo section catalog, find Slideshow Glass under Slideshow, and add it to any page. It looks finished before you upload anything, so you can drop it in and fill it out afterwards.
