Product Quick Buy — finish the sale on the grid
A packshot grid where every card carries Add to cart and Checkout now side by side, so shoppers never need the product page to buy.
Every product section in Modulo so far has sent shoppers to the product page to buy. Product Quick Buy closes on the grid instead: each card carries Add to cart and Checkout now side by side.
It's built for curated commercial rows — bundles, summer deals, a hand-picked "ready to ship today" set — where the shopper already knows what they want because the grid just told them, and a second page load is friction you're choosing to impose.
The buttons fill as you hover
Both buttons fill left to right on hover, and drain off the right when you leave rather than snapping back. It's a small thing, but it's the reason the section exists: the products these grids sell are usually the kind that charge, and a fill that only ever runs forward reads like a battery topping up.
Keyboard users get the same fill on focus, and it turns into an instant state change if the shopper has reduced motion switched on.
It won't sell someone the wrong thing
- Products with more than one variant say "Choose options" and link to the product page. They never quietly add a size or colour the shopper didn't pick.
- The percent-off flag is calculated from your Compare-at price — you can't type a number into it. No compare-at price, no flag.
- Sold-out products keep their place in the grid and say so on the button.
- Real errors surface on the button. If something sells out between the page loading and the click, the shopper sees Shopify's actual reason rather than a generic failure.
One note on Checkout now: it adds the product and then takes the shopper to checkout with their whole cart, exactly as if they'd hit the cart page and pressed through. That's why it isn't called "Buy now" — it doesn't buy that one item in isolation. If you'd rather only offer one button, a single setting switches to Add to cart only or Checkout now only.
Setting it up
Point it at a collection, or hand-pick up to 24 products when you're curating something specific. Choose 2–5 products per row, set your colours, and every button label is yours to rewrite in any language.
Find it under Products in the section catalog.
